Core scope
Profile publication and membership verification are separate. Payment begins annual membership and activates the Verified badge and member services; it does not determine whether a reviewed profile may be published.
Sponsored Placement affects disclosed visibility within Tax Advisor Index surfaces only. It does not improve Authority Status, source evidence, client fit, or reviewed ordering.
Sponsored Placement quotes are valid for 7 calendar days from issuance. Slots are held for 3 calendar days from issuance, and a slot hold expiring does not automatically expire the quote.
Published Specialists do not need membership or Sponsored Placement to appear in the Directory, Specialty pages, or profile pages. Active verification enables Request Introduction when routing exists and creates Get Matched eligibility when fit and routing requirements pass.
External search engines and AI systems decide what they display. Tax Advisor Index focuses on profile clarity, structure, source evidence, and machine-readable context.
