This draft explains the information Tax Advisor Index receives through discovery, profile, application, and introduction workflows.
Information you provide
Request Introduction and application workflows collect the information shown in their forms. The platform uses that information to operate the requested workflow, review submissions, route an inquiry, communicate about it, and maintain an operational record.
Discovery and shortlist data
The public shortlist stores no more than three Specialist slugs in your browser on the device you use. A legacy four-Specialist shortlist remains stored until you choose one entry to remove. When you open the shortlist, the platform uses those slugs to fetch current public profile details for display; those details are used transiently and are not added to the browser-stored shortlist. The shortlist is not an account and its contents are not uploaded in interaction analytics. Clearing site storage clears the shortlist.
Operational and analytics data
The platform may record route, event, device, and workflow metadata needed to understand reliability and use. Interaction analytics must not include buyer contact fields, free-text tax situations, or shortlist contents.
Sharing
When you submit a Request Introduction, the form identifies the firm contact and selected Specialist with whom the inquiry details will be shared. Service providers may process data on the platform’s behalf for hosting, database, email, analytics, security, or billing operations.
Retention and rights
Owner/counsel decision required: retention periods, deletion exceptions, jurisdiction-specific rights, subprocessors, and the final request-handling procedure have not been approved and are intentionally not invented in this draft.
Last draft update: July 20, 2026. Material policy decisions remain subject to owner and counsel approval.
